The family were "home" for the summer holidays in County Down and wanted to record their visit and celebrate their family. We photographed in the garden and the images always remind me of Horst Jankowski's 1965 composition, "A Walk in the Black Forest".

The children were young, lively and carefree; the August afternoon was warm and balmy; the family were relaxed and enjoyed the session.

The trees join hands and say, "Hello,"
And suddenly ev'rywhere we go
The sun beams through in fun.
