Battery life

Black and white photograph of three young people using mobiles and tablets for social mediaSocial LifeUsing social media Two brothers and their sister traveled to different parts of the world and had not been home in quite a while. As a gift for their mum and dad, they arranged a photo session with me. and we made this image as a "tongue in cheek" caricature of home life.

It does, however, help to underline the message that....
sometimes you have to disconnect to make a connection. Of course this is a case of "do as I say" rather than "do as I did"!
Like many, I got caught up in connecting electronically with all and sunder in the world - but often neglected my own nearest and dearest. I very much regret that and hope that I'm redressing the balance. The thing is, we can't get that "lost" time back.

Mobiles, tablets and social media are a central part of life today but let's try not to make battery life more important than real life....
because family is the most important thing in the world.
